Pet food safety is at the top of the list of pet food manufacturer’s concerns. Due to its high likelihood of direct contact with pet owners, pet food products should not only be safe for the pet but also for humans.
During her lecture, Elaine will first present the main microbiological, physical, and chemical hazards that can be encountered during petfood manufacturing. From raw material qualification to plant management, Elaine will then share concrete methods and good manufacturing practices to limit contamination risks and guarantee maximum pet food safety.
